Woman Claims She Was Robbed By Former Newspaper Deliveryman
SOUTH HAVEN, Ind. (STMW) -- A South Haven, Ind. woman's former newspaper delivery person robbed her at gunpoint and also stole her car, the 68-year-old told police.
At about 4:10 p.m. Wednesday, the woman was at home, in the 200 block of Sunlite Court, when she heard a knock at the door.
Standing outside was a man whom she knew only as "Fred" because he used to deliver the newspaper to her house, although he lost his job several weeks ago.
He asked if he could come inside to get warm and she agreed.
Once inside, the man ordered her to give him money.
He's accused of grabbing her by her necklace and pointing a revolver at her.
