Woman Charged With Stabbing Sister With Kitchen Knife
MONTGOMERY, Ill. (STMW) - A west suburban woman faces aggravated battery charges for allegedly stabbing her sister in the back with a steak knife during a fight on Saturday afternoon.
Tamika Bell, 30, of Montgomery was arrested and charged with felony aggravated battery, and two counts of domestic battery after the stabbing in the 1300 block of Pearl Street about 3:45 p.m., a release from Montgomery police said.
Bell allegedly stabbed her 24-year-old sister in the back with a kitchen steak knife after the two argued.
Bell's sister did not suffer life-threatening injures. She was later arrested on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in traffic court.
