Woman, 18, Critically Hurt In Garfield Park Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A woman was critically wounded early Sunday in a shooting in the West Side Garfield Park neighborhood.
The woman, 18, was in the 4400 block of West Fulton Street about 1:30 a.m. when she was shot, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.
She was on the street when someone inside a dark-colored vehicle opened fire, striking her in the neck, police said.
She is in critical condition at Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
Area Central detectives are investigating, but no one is in custody.
