Wins Haven't Changed Anything For Bears
The perception of the Bears has changed a great deal over the past few games. They went from a disappointing team that could potentially get their head coach fired to a playoff team that could earn their head coach the NFL Coach of the Year Award.
While it seems almost everyone has changed their opinion of the Bears, there is one group of people who haven't...and that's the Bears themselves.
"We feel the same. I don't know how [everyone else] feels, but we feel the same we felt since we opened the season 1-0 against Detroit," Chris Harris said.
That confidence is something that has been typical for Lovie Smith coached Bears' teams. They constantly play with a chip on their shoulder and look to make improvements week by week.
"I feel we're only getting better as a team," Harris said. "We're progressing offensively, defensively and on special teams. We see that building week in and week out. But like I said, we've believed in the team we've had since week one, since we started the season."
It's starting to become clear that perhaps the Bears' players and coaches saw something that not many others did. And if they continue to improve each week, they could have their sights set higher than just the playoffs.
