Winners Have Big Plans After Lottery Ticket Luck
MINOOKA, Ill. (CBS) -- The agenda is becoming clear for a Minooka couple, now that they have cleared $8 million with a winning Lottery ticket.
"We're going to have a little fun," said Janet Gosset.
As WBBM Newsradio's John Cody reports, Gosset and her husband, Craig, are going to use part of their winnings for a vacation they have always wanted.

"We want to go see the Little House on the Prairie in Minnesota – Walnut Grove," Janet Gosset said. "We've never seen that before – the Little House on the Prairie, Walnut Grove, you know, in Minnesota?"
But before that, Craig Gosset will finish his paperwork to drop his filing for Chapter 13 bankruptcy. He no longer needs to do so now that he won the Lottery.
Craig Gosset says he is also filing for a leave of absence from Black Horse carriers where he drives trucks overnight to Aldi Stores. He says if they don't accept his leave of absence request, he may quit.
The Gossets bought the $11 million winning ticket Dec. 10, and took an $8 million lump sum.
Meanwhile, Roxanna Nye, 55, of Tiskilwa, won $1 million with an instant ticket, and opted to take it as a $600,000 lump sum.
Nye was too overwhelmed to appear in public to discuss her good fortune so she sent her daughter Mollie who said her mother deserves a break. She says every morning for the twenty years, her mother has been getting up at 3:30 a.m. to open the local Aldi Grocery store and accept incoming delivery trucks.
On Dec. 3, she bought a $200 million cash spectacular instant game, and scratched it to find she'd won $1 million over twenty years, which she elected to take as $600,000 cash.
Mollie says her mother would like to visit the Grand Canyon and Santa Fe, N.M.
