Wilmette Woman's Death Prompts 'Death Investigation'
WILMETTE, Ill. (STMW) - Police in north suburban Wilmette are conducting a death investigation after the death of a village resident.
Nancee Rapoport, 49, of 3115 Hill Lane in Wilmette, was injured or became ill at her home and was pronounced dead at 4:14 p.m. at Evanston Hospital, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
An apparent cause of death was not immediately available, but an autopsy is scheduled for Monday, the medical examiner's office said.
Wilmette police detectives are conducting a "death investigation," but police would not provide further details Sunday night.
