Man Shot Dead In Wicker Park Apartment
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was shot and killed in an apartment on the eastern edge of the Wicker Park neighborhood early Sunday.
At 6:33 a.m., the 39-year-old man was shot in the abdomen by someone he knew in a third-floor apartment in the 1500 block of West North Avenue, police said.
The man was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
As of Sunday afternoon, no one was in custody in the shooting. Area Five detectives were investigating.
