White Sox's Season Will 'Be Made Or Not Made' In July
CHICAGO (WSCR) The high expectations the White Sox had coming into this season haven't been met, that's no secret at all. But as bad as the team and individual players have been, they can still reach those expectations with good second half.
"We haven't played our best baseball," reliever Jesse Crain said on the Mully and Hanley Show. "I don't think we've played close to our best baseball, and we're still three, three and a half games out. Detroit and Cleveland are leaving the door open. Minnesota is still hanging around. For having so many guys injured, they're hanging around.

"You know, it's just one of those things where the division is up in the air, and we truly need to win. In the next two months or so, we play tons of games in the division. So this is where the season is going to be made or not made. So hopefully we can win some of these games and make a run for it."
The White Sox will play 17 consecutive games against AL Central opponents between now and July 27.
"If we want to win the division," Crain said, "we need to win these games."
