White Sox Remember New York On 9/11
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The White Sox were in New York on Sept. 11, 2001, to play the New York Yankees.
WBBM Newsradio's Terry Keshner caught up with the two members of the 2001 Sox who are still with the team today.

First baseman Paul Konerko says it was eerie, "Seeing millions of people walking the streets, all kind of with the same thought in mind, which was kind of a real odd thing."
Pitcher Mark Buehrle was in New York for the first time that day.
"I remember just feeling like somebody was going to jump out of the stairs, or jump out of another room and attack me and kill me," he said. "I obviously had no clue what was going on, so for me it was super-frightening."
The day is also a reminder about role models.
"I pity all those people out there fighting in war, and cops and firefighters out there; people protecting us," Buehrle said. "I think those are the guys that are the real heroes."
"It just kind of changed the way everybody looks at everything," Konerko said.
