White Sox Place Viciedo On 15-Day DL
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The White Sox have placed outfielder Dayan Viciedo on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left oblique. The move is retroactive to April 19.
Viciedo suffered the oblique injury in an eighth at-bat against Toronto Thursday. He is batting .229 (11-48) with two home runs and five RBI in 13 games this season.
Outfielder Blake Tekotte has been recalled from Class AAA Charlotte to take Viciedo's spot on the roster.
