White Sox May Have Interest In Matsui
According to The Yomiuri Shimbun, a Japanese newspaper, the White Sox have expressed interest in free agent slugger Hideki Matsui.
Kenny Williams spoke with the Japanese press on Tuesday and said that the team has a strong interest in Matsui.
Matsui played for the Los Angeles Angels last season after playing seven years with the New York Yankees.
Matsui would more than likely play as the team's designated hitter opposed to playing in the outfield.
