White Sox Trade Hector Santiago; Acquire Adam Eaton
(CBS) The Winter Meetings are underway in Lake Buena Vista and the White Sox, Angels and Diamondbacks have completed a trade.
670 The Score's Bruce Levine confirmed the White Sox will send left-hander Hector Santiago to the Angels. In return, they'll get center fielder Adam Eaton from the Diamondbacks.
The Angels will also receive pitcher Tyler Skaggs, and will send Mark Trumbo to the Diamondbacks.
The 25-year-old Eaton seemingly solidifies the White Sox's woes at the top of the order. In parts of two seasons, he's hit .254 with five home runs and 27 RBIs in Arizona.
Eaton has a .450 on-base percentage in the minor leagues.
