White Sox Hoping For Drama-Free Season
There's a lot of optimism surrounding the Chicago White Sox heading into the start of spring training. Hopefully for the team, and its fans, the season's the attention stays on what they're is doing on the field.
"I would like peace," White Sox general manger Ken Williams said. "I would like a little bit of quite and just to focus on baseball, that's it."
Between tweets, texts and rumors, last season was one full of drama involving Williams and manager Ozzie Guillen. And both appear to be looking forward to the shot of a 2011 season absent of those things.
"I'm 47, I'm not going to make it to 94, I know that," Guillen said. "I know I want to live my life in peace, and hopefully that happens."
If the White Sox can live up to some of the hopes their fans are feeling, then the focus will most certainly be on team's success. The addition of slugger Adam Dunn and the potential for a healthy Jake Peavy could make the White Sox a dangerous team in the American League Central division.
