White Sox Can Only Worry About 'Next' Game
CHICAGO (WSCR) -- The Chicago White Sox have lost six consecutive games, and over that period they've averaged only two runs scored per game, while giving up an average of 4.8 runs per game.
But that can't be the focus, the White Sox can only focus on the next game.
"It's hard to do, but you have to crumple up these games and throw them away as quick as you can and come back ready tomorrow, to fight," Paul Konerko said. "Because that's when six turns into seven and seven turn into eight. It's just like hitting or pitching or anything else, it's a game of next."
The White Sox next opportunity to get out of their combined team slump will be on Wednesday night, when the team takes on the Tampa Bay Rays.
