White Sox Agree To Deal With Danny Farquhar, Avoiding Arbitration
(CBS) The White Sox have agreed to a one-year, $1.05 million-deal with righty reliever Danny Farquhar, avoiding arbitration.
Farquhar, 30, was 4-2 with a 4.20 ERA and 45 strikeouts in 49 1/3 innings across 52 appearances in 2017, when he split time with the Rays and White Sox. He had a 4.40 ERA in 15 games with the White Sox after he signed with them in late July.
Farquhar limited opponents to a .223 batting average. He has a career 3.88 ERA in across six big league season.
