Where Will Bulls Find Scoring Help For Next Season?
CHICAGO (WSCR) As disappointing as Thursday night's loss is, this is still a Chicago Bulls team that has a lot of potential to contend for NBA Titles for many years to come. But for that to happen, the Bulls need to get league MVP Derrick Rose some scoring help.
"Well, obviously you'd like to get an All-Star caliber player," Mark Schanowski, of Comcast SportsNet, said on the Danny Mac Show. "But that's probably unrealistic given that the [salary] cap number is probably going to come down, so the Bulls won't be able to bid on free agents. They're going to probably have to make a basketball trade that makes sense to them.

"A guy I'm kind of looking at who's not All-Star caliber, but may be the next notch down is Jason Richardson, down in Orlando. He's going to be a free agent, you know, maybe the Bulls can work out a sign-and-trade to bring him in here. The other thing that I think, if you want to think really big, maybe they can come up with some crazy package where they put [Joakim] Noah, [Carlos] Boozer and [Luol] Deng and take back Dwight Howard and Richardson in a sign and trade."
Last season, while splitting time between Phoenix and Orlando, Richardson averaged 15.6 points per game and shot 39.5 percent from behind the three-point line. He has a career average of 18 points per game and a 37.3 three-point percentage.
