Where Does Olsen Fit Into Your Fantasy League?
Greg Olsen came into the league as a pass catching tight end who could stretch the field vertically. Last year he was a big red zone target for Jay Cutler, but Olsen has yet to fully live up to the potential he came into the league with. Now, with a new offensive system that almost solely utilizes the tight end as a blocker, Olsen might be less of an impact for the Bears and for fantasy owners.
Olsen has all of the ability to be an elite tight end in the league and be a huge fantasy asset. For him, it comes down to being able to put all of his abilities together in a system that will allow him to flourish. Martz has shown that he knows how to use his weapons, but while Martz was in San Francisco Vernon Davis saw little production compared to what we now know he is capable of.
Jamey Eisenberg of CBSSports.com ranks Olsen, Davis and the other tight ends into five tiers that you need to know if you want to dominate in your fantasy league this year. For Eisenberg's story and rankings click here.
