What Will Noah's Return Do For The Bulls' Offense?
The Chicago Bulls have been without center Joakim Noah since the middle of December. On Wednesday, they'll finally get the big man back in the lineup. His return could improve the offense right away.
"I don't see much of an adjustment offensively," K.C. Johnson, of the Chicago Tribune, said on the Mully and Hanley Show. "And here's why, because what Joakim does so well, I mean, first of all, early offense, he's great at. He's a rim-runner, and they really don't have one other that Joakim...So he takes some traffic deep with him in transition.

"Then in half court...I think what he's going to be hugely welcomed back with is a release point at the high post. Because so many teams now are trapping Derrick [Rose] right after he comes across half court...And [Noah] is really underrated in his ability to catch, turn, assess what the defense is doing, bounce it once or twice if he needs to and make the proper pass. Finally, let's face it, most of his offense is just weak side tip-ins...so he's going to create some havoc there. I think once he gets into game shape, I think his offensive transition will be very very smooth because he doesn't demand the ball."
