Police Search For Suspect After Lockdown Lifted At Delnor Hospital In Geneva
(CBS) -- A west suburban hospital was locked down for about an hour Tuesday morning, after an armed intruder threatened another visitor.
Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva was placed on lockdown around 10 a.m. A hospital spokesman said an armed intruder had threatened a visitor, prompting staff to call police.
Hospital spokesman Chris King said, after a search of the building, police confirmed the suspect was no longer at the hospital, and the lockdown was lifted around 11 a.m.
Geneva Police identified the suspect as 31-year-old Justin Patzer, of Campton Hills. Patzer apparently left the hospital around 9:45 a.m., in a red 2004 Dodge Caravan, with license plate P769405. The minivan has damage to the front passenger's side.
Police say Patzer was visiting his father in the hospital and other members of his family were there as well. After an argument over property with a brother-in-law, police say Patzer started to choke him and drew a knife and threatened him with it.

Police said Patzer is wanted on arrest warrants for disorderly conduct, battery, aggravated assault, and leaving the scene of an accident -- all related to the incident at Delnor Hospital.
Patzer is described as a white male, 5'9', 250 pounds, with closely shaved brown hair, and blue eyes. However, both of his eyes are black, apparently from a recent fight. He was last seen wearing a grayish/green shirt, and blue jeans.
Police said Patzer is believed to be armed with a knife, and should be considered dangerous. Anyone who sees him should not approach him, and instead should call 911.
