West Suburban Bank Branch Robbed In Wheaton
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police and the FBI are seeking the two men who held up a bank in Wheaton late Tuesday afternoon.
It was not immediately clear how much money the two men took in the 5:30 p.m. holdup at the West Suburban Bank's downtown Wheaton branch, 221 S. West St.
No one was hurt in the stickup.
Wheaton police told WBBM Newsradio that if the thieves had guns, they were never pulled.
Wheaton police said the men walked into the bank, ordered a teller to hand over money.
When they got the cash, they ran from the bank, apparently escaping on foot.
Neither police nor the FBI immediately had a description of the two men.
