West Side Street Fight Leads To Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man who was fighting on the street was shot in the head and suffered a graze wound at a busy West Side intersection Friday night.
At 8:45 p.m. the 36-year-old man was fighting with someone outside at 1141 S. Pulaski Rd. when he felt shots and heard pain, according to police. The shooting occurred near the intersection of Roosevelt and Pulaski.
The man suffered a graze wound to the head and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was expected to survive, according to police.
The victim, who was intoxicated at the time, told police he did not know who shot him and no arrests have been made, police said.
Harrison Area detectives are investigating.
