West Side Man Found Decomposed Was Murdered
CHICAGO (STMW) - An autopsy determined a West Side man who was found decomposed in his home Thursday afternoon was murdered.
Michael Socki, 50, of the 2700 block of W. Monroe St., was found decomposed at his home Thursday and he was dead on the scene, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
An autopsy Friday determined Socki died of a subdural hematoma and blunt head trauma, according to the medical examiner's office. His death was declared a homicide.
Police had no further information about the incident Saturday morning.
Harrison Area detectives are investigating.
