Wennington: Noah Improved Offensively, But Still 'Tentative'

CHICAGO (WSCR) Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah averaged a double-double in the regular season, but his value for the Bulls comes mainly from rebounding, defense and energy. In his fourth season in the NBA, the 7-footer still working to develop an offensive game.

And the most obvious area for improvement offensively is his jump shot.

"He's gotten better at it," former Bull and current radio analyst Bill Wennington said on the Danny Mac Show. "I mean if you look at him today, as compared to when he first came into the league, he's a lot better. And now it's just a matter of him taking the shot and getting comfortable, and confidence in taking the shot.

"So I think he can get better at it, it's just something that he has to rely on a little bit more in the offseason. Just take a lot more shots and get comfortable in games, becuase he's not really looking for it a whole lot right now, so when he does look for it, he does look a little tentative taking it."
