Snow Possible This Weekend As Winter Turns To Spring

CHICAGO (CBS) -- The first full day of spring arrives Sunday, and Chicago could get a few flakes of snow before old man winter breathes his last gasp of the season.

Temperatures will be a few degrees colder than normal the next few days, with highs in the low 40s, and temperatures close to freezing overnight. Normally, the high this time of year is about 48 degrees, and the low is about 39.

On Saturday, there's a 30 percent chance for a mix of rain and snow at night, with astronomical spring officially arriving at 11:30 p.m. Saturday.

The first full day of spring should be chilly but clear, with a high around 44, and partly cloudy skies.

Temperatures should get warmer in the middle of next week, with highs in the mid 50s on Tuesday and Wednesday, and a chance of rain both days.
