Weber: 'We Can Get Better'
(WSCR) They may be young, but the Illini have talent.
Fresh off their victory over fifth-ranked Ohio State behind 43 points from Brandon Paul, Illinios is turning some heads in college basketball. Head coach Bruce Weber joined The McNeil and Spiegel Show to discuss the win and what's next for the Illini.
"We can get better. I don't think there's any doubt," Weber said. "The thing I've said since the beginnings is that we're inexperienced and immature. You hope each day, each game, each practice we're getting better. The one thing that's been pretty amazing about this team is that we're 10-1 in single-digit games. We've won a lot of close games."
