Way-Too-Early NFL Win Totals: Bears Over/Under Set At 8.5
(CBS) In an early release of projected NFL win totals, oddsmaker CG Technology has the Bears over/under set at 8.5 wins for the 2014 season, according to a ProFootballTalk.com report.
Being before the start of free agency and the NFL draft, it's a tricky-but-fun release of projected win totals. The Bears' over/under line certainly reflects what 2013 showed: Their offense is elite while the defense is horrible, and uncertainty abounds as Chicago heads into free agency to try and fix its problems.
The Bears were 8-8 last season.
The Packers are the NFC North favorites, with their win total pegged at 10. The Lions were picked to win eight games, while the Vikings' over/under was set at 6.5.
The 49ers, Broncos and Seahawks topped the list with 11 projected wins apiece.
