Waukegan Woman Found Murdered In Her Home
WAUKEGAN, Ill. (STMW) -- A well-being check on a 28-year-old north suburban woman led to the discovery of her murder by police on Sunday night.
About 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Waukegan police went to a home in the 200 block of West Drive in Waukegan in an attempt to locate Monica L. Williams after family members reported being unable to locate her, according to a statement from Waukegan police.
Williams' body was found in the home and police have classified the death a homicide. The Lake County Coroner's office was scheduled to perform an autopsy on Monday, but was not releasing information.
