Waukegan Man Shot And Killed In North Chicago
NORTH CHICAGO, Ill. (STMW) -- A Waukegan man was pronounced dead on Sunday, after getting shot in the head and calf Saturday night in North Chicago, Lake County Coroner Dr. Thomas Rudd said.
James Myles, 28, of Waukegan, was shot on Jackson Street at 11:23 p.m. He was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased at 4:58 a.m. Sunday, Rudd said.
"Right now, it appears to be a homicide," Rudd said.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
North Chicago police could not release any information Sunday.
