Water Main Break Snags Northwest Highway In Park Ridge
PARK RIDGE, Ill. (CBS) -- A water main break Wednesday morning snagged Northwest Highway in Park Ridge.
CBS 2's David Morrison reports the water main broke, and water erupted from beneath the pavement, on northwest-bound Northwest Highway just north of Oakton Street.
The northwest-bound lanes were completely blocked off approaching Oakton Street. One lane remained open in the southeast-bound lanes as of the 6 a.m. hour.
Details of the water main break, and the process that will be required to fix it, were not immediately available.
