Watchdog: 'Hunger Games' May Not Be Suitable For Kids
CHICAGO (CBS) -- "The Hunger Games" opens at midnight Thursday night, in what is expected to be the biggest box office smash since the "Twilight" saga.
As WBBM Newsradio's Regine Schlesinger reports, the movie is based on a popular young adult fiction series by Suzanne Collins.

Betsy Bozdech, executive director of the nonprofit group Common Sense Media, has seen the movie and came away impressed.
"I thought they did a really good job," she said.
Still, Bozdech says parents should use their judgment when taking young children to see the movie.
"We rated it as 'Pause for 13,' which for us, means it's a 'know your kid' situation," Bozdech said. "Some 13-year-olds, or possibly slightly younger kids, might be able to handle it. Some might not be able to."
Bozdech says the movie is very violent.
"(There is) one scene in particular, when the actual game starts, that is more or less a bloodbath," she said.
"The Hunger Games" will open at multiple Chicago area theaters at midnight, 12:01 a.m. and 12:05 a.m.
