Watch: Sometimes Fly Balls Have A Way Of Humbling You
(CBS) Poor Travis Snider.
The effort was all there for the Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder trying to make a catch last night against the Reds in Cincinnati. The execution just wasn't.
And to make matters worst, after Snider took what he thought was a foul ball off the face while making a sliding attempt at a catch, a replay review overturned the initial ruling and called it a fair ball, giving Todd Frazier a hit.
The Reds and the Pirates had that game suspended after six innings by inclement weather when it was tied. It's supposed to be finished later today, weather permitting.
