WATCH: Mississippi Meteorologist Forced To Sprint From Set As Tornado Hits
(CBS) -- A tornado tore through Tupalo, Miss., on Monday afternoon, forcing a local news station there to quickly abandon their newscast.
There were some tense moments for the crew and on air talent as the twister touched down shortly after 2:30 p.m. near their building.
After imploring crew members to the "basement now" chief meteorologist Matt Laubhan runs from the set to take cover.
