Watch: Kershaw Finishes Off His No-Hitter
(CBS) Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw tossed his first career no-hitter last night in an 8-0 win against the Rockies, and the performance ranked among baseball's all-time best. Kershaw became the first pitcher to strike out 15 batters while walking none in a no-hitter, and his game score -- a metric created by baseball statistic guru Bill James to rank how effective a pitcher was in a game -- of 102 was the second-best ever, trailing only Kerry Wood's 105 in his 20-strikeout one-hitter in 1998.
You can check out the end of the no-hitter below, with the great Vin Scully on the call.
