Watch: Cubs Fan Robs Homer From Reaching Waveland
(CBS) For all you young Cubs fans out there, you can only hope to be this nimble and clever when you're 65 years old.
In the second inning of the Brewers' 3-1 win against the Cubs at Wrigley Field on Monday night, Milwaukee's Mark Reynolds hit a deep blast to left-center field that looked like it would make its way onto Waveland. Until an elderly gentleman -- whom the Chicago Tribune reported to be 65-year-old Mike Pullin of Rochelle -- made a terrific snag, leaning backward on one foot.
Then with the wisdom he's garnered as a Cubs fan, he kept the home run ball and sneakily threw back a different ball that he'd brought to the park.
