You don't deserve to win when you strand 12 baserunners and the White Sox didn't on Thursday night dropping a 6-1 decision to the Twins. Three different times the Sox left the bases loaded including the 5th inning when they had the bags loaded with no outs and didn't come close to denting the plate.
Gavin Floyd who had been magnificent over the last two plus months jsut wasn't up to snuff on this night as he gave up a couple of homeruns including one to Jason Kubel on an 0-2 pitch. Floyd drops to 8-9 on the season with Francisco Liriano picking up his 11th win for the Twins. So Minnesota takes 2 out of 3 in the series and regains the lead in the Central Division and now the Sox have the Tigers in town for three games beginning with Friday nights game.
After Thursday's game, the Sox sent Dayan Viciedo down to the minors and recalled Mark Teahan from his rehab assignment.
