Wade Still In Chicago For Court Hearing, Could Return To Heat Soon
MIAMI -- Dwyane Wade will not practice with the Miami Heat on Wednesday. He's scheduled to remain in Chicago for at least one more day of testimony in the case that will decide custody of his two children.
And unless he or the Heat change their schedules, the earliest Wade may participate in a full practice again with the Heat is Sunday -- just two days before Miami opens the regular season in Boston.
Wade has been sidelined since the early minutes of the preseason opener with a strained right hamstring. He has been rehabbing in Chicago, but was on the witness stand Friday and again Monday.
Miami has its final preseason games Thursday (in Atlanta) and Friday against Orlando (in Tampa, Fla.).
