Vikings Game No Guaranteed Win For Bears
Most of the talk about the Bears-Vikings game this week has revolved around what stadium it would be played at and the conditions of the stadium. The little talk about the actual game has painted it as a near guaranteed victory for the Bears.
And according to former Bear and current analyst, Tom Thayer, there's reason to be nervous.
"You always have to be nervous when you have big play ability on defense, in terms of both defensive ends, if they get a sack, turnover, recovery." Thayer said. "They have exposure to those types of plays. And offensively they still have Sidney Rice and Bernard Berrian and Percy Harvin and Adrian Peterson. They do have big plays over there."

But the man running the show, for the Vikings, might be a bit of a wild card. Joe Webb, is a rookie quarterback who was drafted as a wide receiver, but has some skills that can make him dangerous.
"This quarterback, [he's] 6'4'', 220 [pounds]," Thayer said. "He works his way into the open, people are slipping, falling. The offense is doing a better job of dictating each offensive play. He knows how to play football. He threw for over 2,000 yards, the last two seasons [in college], and 1,400 yards rushing. Yeah, it's a scary monster, because you just do not know how this kid is going to perform."
