Video: Tony Parker Falls To Floor, Hits Shot At Buzzer As Spurs Beat Heat
(CBS) If anyone can stand in the way of LeBron James and the Miami Heat winning their second-straight NBA title, it's Tony Parker and the San Antonio Spurs.
That much was true after the Spurs snatched Game 1 of the NBA Finals last night in Miami behind 21 points and six assists from Parker.
Arguably Parker's most spectacular play came in the final seconds of the fourth quarter with the Spurs leading 90-88.
With roughly 7 seconds to play and two seconds left on the shot clock, Parker dribbled around James before falling to the ground. As the final tenths of a second clicked off the shot clock, Parker got to his feet and hit a miraculous shot to put the Spurs up by four points with 5.2 seconds to play.
The Spurs kept the Heat off the board in the finals seconds, earning the 1-0 series lead.
