Video: Man Tramples Young Child To Get Grand Slam Ball In Sox-Mariners Marathon
(CBS) If you play 16 innings of baseball, you're bound to see some crazy things toward the later innings.
Last night's 16-inning marathon between the White Sox and Mariners was no exception.
After the White Sox put up five runs in the top of the 14th inning, most thought the game was three outs away from finally ending, But that's until Kyle Seager stepped up to the plate with the bases loaded and two outs.
Seager smacked Addison Reed's 1-2 offering deep over the right-center field fence, tying the game at 5-5.
But if you look closely at Seager's slam, you'll notice a full-grown man trampling over a young boy, who looks no older than four, trying to track down the home run ball.
People are the worst.
