(CBS) Wrongfully accused of first degree murder in July 2009, Semejay Thomas is ready to make his professional debut.
After spending 15 months in Cook County's Juvenile Temporary Detention Center in 2009, Semejay was acquitted of all charges in November 2010. Hear Semejay Thomas explain what happened in July of 2009, and what it was like to be incarcerated for a crime he didn't commit.
As he prepares for his professional career, Semejay Thomas is already a boxing sensation. He is one of the top amateurs in the world and is one of the sparring partners for Adrian "The Problem" Broner, who is the current WBC lightweight champion of the world. He has also trained at Floyd Mayweather's gym in Las Vegas. You can hear Semejay talk about Broner, Mayweather, and his future goals as he continues his boxing career.
