Victim Tracks Smart Phone; Officers Arrest Robber Armed With Gun
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago Police have arrested and charged an armed robbery suspect and an accomplice who held an 18-year-old man at gunpoint while taking his smart phone, cash, and wallet on Friday.
One of the offenders also pulled a handgun as officers approached him during their investigation.
Dion Rutledge, 25, of the 1100 block of North Harding Avenue, was charged with armed robbery, possession of a firearm by a felon, two counts of resisting a police officer and drug possession charges.

Delshun Rutledge, 30, of the 2100 block of North Mango was charged with one count of armed robbery.
Officers responded to the 1700 Block of North Avenue shortly after 5 p.m. where the victim told officers he tracked his stolen smart phone to a nearby store.
The victim informed officers he was robbed at gunpoint in the 2100 block of N. Cicero Avenue shortly after 11:30 p.m. the previous evening as he walked home from work.
During the robbery, two men approached the victim while one of them held him at gunpoint and the second offender rummaged through his pockets taking his smart phone, cash and wallet.
Officers entered the establishment where the victim tracked his smart phone. The victim identified Delshun Rutledge as the offender.
Officers began to pat Rutledge down for weapons when he pulled a semiautomatic handgun from his waistband.
He was quickly subdued by the officers.
Subsequent investigation led to the identification and apprehension of Dion Rutledge.
