Victim In North Side Gas Station Shooting Dies
CHICAGO (CBS) -- One of the men shot in a gas station parking lot along the 3600 block of North Ashland Avenue early Wednesday has died.
He's identified as 26-year old Max Vallejo of Bolingbrook.
A second victim, a 29-year old man who's not been identified, is hospitalized in critical condition.
Police say both were shot by a man who approached them on foot, but there's no word yet on a possible motive and no one's in custody.
The two victims were sitting in a tow truck at the station when they were shot around 3:30 a.m. Police said people are often arguing at the station about cars being towed.
