Vehicle Fatally Strikes Pedestrian In Lockport
LOCKPORT, Ill. (STMW) -- A pedestrian died early Sunday after being struck by a vehicle in southwest suburban Lockport.
Tina M. Douglas, 48, of Lockport, was pronounced dead at 5:22 a.m. at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, according to the Will County Coroner's office.
She was struck by a vehicle near the intersection of 18th and State streets in Lockport, according to the coroner's office.
An autopsy Sunday determined the woman died from multiple injuries suffered in the accident, the coroner's office said.
Lockport police were not available Sunday for comment.
