Urlacher: Rodgers 'Has Everything'
(CBS) With one of the NFL's most prolific offenses coming to Chicago on Sunday, Brian Urlacher gave some credit to the work of Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
"He's got everything," Urlacher said. "He knows what coverage you're in. He knows when to run the football, knows when to throw the football, knows where to go with it. He doesn't make a lot of mistakes. Especially this year so far, he hasn't turned the ball over yet throwing a pick. He's just smart. He's got everything you want in a quarterback. The thing is, he doesn't get pressured a whole lot, either. They're protecting him really well. And when you blitz him, they make you pay for it."
Though Rodgers has yet to throw an interception this season, the Bears have intercepted him four times in six-career games.
"He's hard to pick off, Rodgers is, but somehow we've gotten a few," Urlacher said. "Our coaches give us a good game plan every time we play them."
The last time these two teams faced off was in the Bears' 21-14 loss in the NFC Championship game. Though the game was almost nine months ago, the loss still frustrates Urlacher.
"That was a long time ago," he said. "It was last season. We're trying to put that behind us and build off it at the same time. It was frustrating. We felt like we played good enough to win that game on defense. We didn't. Obviously, we didn't make enough plays. It's frustrating. You get almost to your goal, and you just don't accomplish it. Congrats to them, they got it done. We didn't."
