Urlacher: Everyone Loses In NFL Lockout

It's the time of year when NFL fans should be focused on the draft and what their team's will do to improve before next season. But instead, fans and players are wondering if there will be a next season at all.

"I don't understand it, the fans lose, we lose, the owners lose," Brian Urlacher told Eddie & Jobo on Chicago's K-Hits. There's just so many things going on, on both sides...I don't know what to think anymore."

Urlacher isn't the only person unsure over why this all happened and what it means, but things could get more confusing as the two side will head to a court room.

"Everyone is so cut off right now, now it's going to the courts with the lawsuit that we're going to file against the NFL because I guess they put aside $4 billion expecting to lock us out," Urlacher said. "Everyone loses, like I said, the fans, the players, the teams, everyone loses. I think something will get done before training camp, it's just going to be a lot of bargaining going on before then."

Urlacher may not have all the answers about the NFL labor situation, but he does know one thing, he's no longer Chicago's sole superstar athlete.

"Have you seen Derrick Rose?" Urlacher said. "He's doing pretty good too."
