Urlacher And Bears Want To End Packers' Season
Despite not having much to gain from a win over the Packers, this is still a rivalry and the Bears want to end Green Bay's season on Sunday.
"If they win they're in," Brian Urlacher said. "We've got ours locked up, obviously, with the bye and number two seed."
The Bears' still have an outside shot at earning the NFC's top seed, but that's not the only motivation for beating the Packers.
"It's a big game for them," Urlacher said. "It's a big game for us too, it's our rivalry. I'd like to be 12-4. I'd like to knock them out of the playoffs, so it's a big game for us too."
Anyone wanting the Bears to rest their starters, or "phone it in", against their 90-year rival will be disappointed. And Bears players and fans look to enjoy the disappointment felt by the Packers if the Bears can go into Green Bay and leave with a season sweep.
