Urlacher: Bears Surge Nothing Shocking

(K-HITS) On the heels of a 37-13 victory over the Lions, the Bears have won four straight games and moved into a tie for second place in the NFC North, but one Bears captain isn't surprised by the team's recent surge.

"We're a pretty physical football team when we want to be," linebacker Brian Urlacher told K-Hits' The Eddie and Jobo Show. "Our last four games, we've played pretty well. This is what we've expected all season long. We knew what we were capable of, it was just a matter of putting it together and doing it."

The Bears physical play took on a different meaning late in the game when a fight broke out after Tim Jennings intercepted Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford. After the pick, Stafford threw D.J. Moore to the ground by his helmet, igniting a bench-clearing brawl that ultimately led to Moore's ejection.

"I heard the crowd start cheering, so I turned around and I was like, 'Oh crap, there's a fight,'" Urlacher said. "So I had to run over there. My little brother was getting into a fight, you know? That's my little guy, so we had to go over there and help him out. But we don't worry about that."
