Urlacher Back at Bears Camp, But Skips Practice
(CBS) – The Chicago Bears tweeted Saturday that Brian Urlacher was back at camp, but not in pads.
Also Saturday, the Bears signed LB Xavier Adibi, LB K.C. Asiodu and DE Aston Whiteside, waived DT Ronnie Cameron and CB Jeremy Ware and placed DE Alex Brown on the reserve/retired list.
Adibi has appeared in 38 games over four seasons with the Houston Texans (2008-10) and Minnesota Vikings (2011).
Asiodu has appeared in 11 games over two seasons with the St. Louis Rams (2009) and New Orleans Saints (2010). He spent part of the 2011 preseason with the Green Bay Packers but was released before the regular season.
Whiteside entered the NFL this season as an undrafted free agent with the Dallas Cowboys out of Abilene Christian University.
