He was arrested in March of last year in a domestic incident, during which prosecutors say he went berserk in a woman's apartment, in Village Green at Centera Apartments east of Winfield Road in Warrenville.
The military veteran had to be tear-gassed and shot with a Taser in order to end a five-hour standoff at the complex.
Warrenville police in March said Patrick barricaded himself inside an apartment, broke the windows, and destroyed the furniture
Some 30 police officers and firefighters from nearby communities were summoned to the scene. including members of the Felony Investigative Assistance Team, or FIAT, SWAT unit.
Patrick caused $23,800 in damage to the building, prosecutors said.
In DuPage County Court this past Monday, Judge Robert G. Kleeman sentenced Patrick to time served, and full restitution to the insurance company that paid for the damage he caused.
Records indicated Patrick is permanently barred from returning to the apartment complex and can have no further contact with the woman and two children who lived inside the unit he ravaged. Kleeman also placed Patrick on four years of probation and assessed fines and legal costs totaling $410, according to records.
