UIC set to hire Howard Moore from Wisconsin
Sources close to the University of Wisconsin basketball program have confirmed that UIC will hire UW assistant coach Howard Moore to take over for the recently retired Jimmy Collins.
Moore, a Chicago native and graduate of Taft High School, has been an assistant coach at Wisconsin since 2005 and has played a big role in recruiting a number of Chicago prospects to UW.
Moore played at Wisconsin from 1990-95 and was an assistant at the University of Chicago, Bradley, Ball State and Loyola-Chicago before joining Bo Ryan's staff at Wisconsin.
